EEUU: Late Blight of Tomato and Potato Webinar

Late blight has been occurring more often in the USA in recent years on tomatoes, but also potatoes.

Beginning and experienced growers need to understand changes in the pathogen that account for this change and other facts about recent occurrences in order to manage late blight effectively.

Another objective of this Webinar is to share information among researchers and growers about managing late blight with copper, biofungicides, and resistant varieties, and utilization of the USABlight monitoring program and the Decision Support System.

Presenters include: Margaret Tuttle McGrath, Department of Plant Pathology and Plant-Microbe Biology, Cornell University; Christine Smart, Department of Plant Pathology and Plant-Microbe Biology, Cornell University; Beth K. Gugino, Department of Plant Pathology and Environmental Microbiology, Pennsylvania State University; Amanda Gevens, Assistant Professor of Plant Pathology at the University of Wisconsin in Madison; and Pamela D. Roberts, University of Florida.

You can download a pdf of the slides from this page.
