Canadá: P.E.I snowfall results in setback for potato harvest
Snowfall early Monday morning in Prince Edward Island has not damaged any potato crops, however this means wet conditions will occur, which means delays for farmers.
Farmers in P.E.I are currently mid harvest, however due to the heavy snow, particularly in the Western part, where it was already wet from previous weather, will be delayed further.Greg Donald with the P.E.I Potato Board said that the harvest is currently 65% to 70% complete.
