Mexico: Sonoran potatoes are well marketed
In Sinaloa, potatoes suffered a significant decline in price as a result of excess production. However, for agricultural companies in Cajeme, the situation has flowed well, trading with clients in other states.

According to Agropecuaria Ille del Valle del Yaqui, customers in San Luis Potosí and León, Guanajuato, have expressed satisfaction with the produce harvested in this part of southern Sonora, and the fact that reasonable prices have been maintained.
Likewise, in the Mayo Valley, they are also harvesting potatoes and have not experienced any trade problems so far. They are hoping for a good season, as they are already in the final stages of production.
What happened in the neighboring state could be seen here, given that the severe water shortage and the good year this crop had last year forced producers to plant a large area of this vegetable.
The oversupply in the Sinaloa market is keeping prices depressed not only for potatoes, but also for other products such as onions, tomatoes, and white corn.
