Lamb Weston, a leading supplier of frozen potato and sweet potato products to restaurants and retailers around the world, received a visit from the Governor of the Province of Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof, prior to the opening of its new plant.
The factory, equipped with the latest technology, covers an area of 40,000 square meters and has a total production capacity of 300 tons per day, making it a regional export hub. Furthermore, the plant has already generated 250 direct jobs, including administrative, technical, engineering, and operational staff, and approximately 3,000 indirect jobs, positively impacting the local production network.
At the same time, the company works directly with more than 100 local producers, who provide it with high-quality raw materials. It will export most of its production, consolidating the city as a strategic supply hub for the region.
