Russia.Russian agro-industrial holding is investing £7.4 million in construction of full cycle complex for potato production.
The project envisages the establishment of an irrigation system covering 10,000 hectares, construction of 12 warehouse complexes with a total storage capacity exceeding 200,000 tonnes, as well as building logistics infrastructure with a capacity of over 700 tonnes of finished products daily.
This is part of a major investment programme estimated at £20 mln to increase production of vegetables on the company’s sites in three Russian regions.
