India: More potato trouble ahead for Odisha
Across the state of Bhubaneswar potato prices continue to increase; according to the Market Intelligence Assistant Director, if not checked the government can expect further trouble ahead.

In a letter and daily retail price statement of essential commodities MI AD demonstrated that the price of potato was 8 Rs per Kilogram last year but last month it increased to 11 Rs and the current price for 1 Kg potato being sold across Odisha ranges from 14 Rs to 17 Rs.
The highest price is 17 Rs in Bhawanipatna and the lowest is in Sambalpur.
