Polonia: Wholesale potatoes nearly 80% more expensive
According to experts of the Institute of Agricultural Economics and Food Economy, the current wholesale price of potatoes in Poland is approximately 80 percent higher than last year.

Meanwhile, according to the IAFE, retail prices are fluctuating between 0.98 and 1.00 złoty per kilo (0.23 Euro) and are approximately 45 percent higher than last year.
Experts of the Institute have attributed this to the fact that the available volume of good quality potatoes is smaller compared to last year.
