Francia: PotatoEurope 2016: Numerous Dynamic Demonstrations Over 23 Hectares
PotatoEurope is the largest open-field event devoted to the potato in Europe, which will cover an area of 44 hectares this year, 23 of which will feature dynamic demonstrations. Moreover, the 3 optical potato sorting demonstrations will be joined by
The optical potato sorting demonstrations are the only demonstrations of their kind at a public event anywhere in the world. They have been a speciality of the French edition of PotatoEurope since 2008. They are the best way for visitors to assess the various advantages of the different equipment and obtain a clearer idea of how well it meets their specific needs.
The receiving and optical sorting demonstrations will run from 10 am to 12 pm and from 2 pm to 5 pm.

Agricultural machines will be everywhere in the trade fair and visitors will see harvesting demos in the whole center of the exhibition, and across the Aisles A and B. Reception demos will be placed along the Aisle D, whereas Optical sorting demos will be situtated along the Aisle E.
Concerning the Dynamic Demonstrations, and according to M. Martin, specialist on storage and valuation of potatoes, ARVALIS - Institut du vegetal: “Visitors will discover a wide range of harvesters, with their latest innovations, proposed by most manufacturers of Western Europe (AVR, Dewulf, Grimme, Ropa, Ploeger) including the French, Pouchain and the British company Scanstone, which were not present before at PotatoEurope.”
