China: Potato prices unlikely to rise again soon

Jiangsu, Anhui, Henan, Hubei and other provinces involved in potato production have also significantly increased cultivation areas.
At some places it’s even doubled, which has caused a substantial increase in supply. Furthermore, potato prices were also affected by an overall fall in the prices of vegetables in May and June. Experts are not very optimistic about future developements.
