Colombia (Cundinamarca): ’Cundipapa’, the strategy to strengthen the paper sector
According to the Marketing Agency and the Government of Cundinamarca, this strategy seeks to protect and strengthen agriculture and dignify the work of the paperophiles.

For several months, the paper sector has been facing a crisis due to falling prices and increased imports to Ecuador. Faced with this situation, the government of Cundinamarca launched the "Cundipapa" strategy, which aims to create opportunities for increased sales, such as farmers’ markets and points of sale at Boyacá toll booths.
Elizabeth Valero, manager of the Marketing Agency, stated that the initiative seeks to eliminate intermediaries, dignify the work of producers, and strengthen the rural and local economy.
"We have launched this major marketing strategy in the Governor’s Office and will continue developing activities within the framework of Farmers’ Markets, direct sales, business roundtables with large retailers, and in the markets promoted by the public procurement law, to strengthen this process within the institutional programs of Cundinamarca and Bogotá," Valero stated.
Another point of the plan is the registration form to identify the needs of each organization, in order to effectively target support.
The strategy is supported by the Government of Cundinamarca, as part of its plan to strengthen the economy and reactivate the agricultural sector.
