Brazil (Cristalina (GO)): Harvest in the region is expected to end in October.
By the end of July, the Goiás market should complete 40% of the harvest.

Cristalina (GO) expects to harvest approximately 40% of its crop by the end of this month, with the highest concentration between late July and August.
Planting began in February and concluded in June, approximately 5% earlier than the normal cycle, which usually ends in July; 60% of the plantings were concentrated between March and April.
The harvest began in May and is expected to conclude in October. Due to the earlier planting date, the harvest is expected to end earlier (not in November, as is usual).
The high temperatures between February and March, in addition to advancing the potato cycle, caused a drop in productivity, a situation exacerbated by excessive rainfall in April and a high incidence of whiteflies, especially at the beginning of the harvest, when it was warmer.
Growers reported low tuber size. However, the weather improved starting in May, with mild temperatures and no excess rainfall. This should normalize tuber size starting in August, in addition to reducing the incidence of whitefly, which should result in increased productivity. The average field yield is estimated so far at around 40 t/ha.Fuente: hfbrasil.org.br
