Fair potato prices and record production are pleasing growers in Bogra this season. Favourable weather conditions during plantation contributed to the record yield and farmers are already placing the crop in cold storages.
NEW DELHI: The government will create a buffer stock of potato as prices are likely to increase in the coming months due to estimated fall in the output of the rabi crop, Parliament was informed today.
