The Chocobamba Producers Association, in the Churubamba district, completed the sale of more than 5 tons of native yellow Tumbay potatoes to the Al Campo Food company, as part of the Native Potato Project.
The agricultural organization points out that this is the main irrigated crop in several regions of the community and that the situation threatens the viability of farms.
The production of storage and mid-season potatoes will reach a record volume of 8.3 Mt in 2025.

The workshops allow farmers in arrears to access waivers of up to 100% interest and 80% of the principal on their loans.
